What food sends you straight to the bathroom?

Yes. For sure.

Not beer, not coffee but ice tea seems to have its own little freeway through my body and goes through me in about 3 minutes tops.

Spicey foods activate the wormhole. Those semifast food sit down restaurants that have a very heavy hand with pepper on the fries? You are off my list!
Strangely enough, weirdly brixed diet Pepsi can have rocket thrust issues too…

Too much fat of any kind – animal or whatever. I’ve spoiled myself probably by eating a diet unusually high in fiber for anyone, let alone first worlders, and as a mostly-vegetarian (but not by choice, per se), I eat quite a bit of fat as well, so it takes something like frozen pepperoni pizza or the like to really set me off. Become more pronounced as I’m entering middle age (35) and older people I’ve talked to have claimed it will only get worse. No, I don’t usually talk about this IRL but occasionally it comes up over a few beers.

Nothing flushes my colon out quicker than a meal from McDonalds.

I was going to answer “nothing,” but then remembered a few long-ago experiences with fried clams. I liked them more than they liked me.

Go-Lytely martinis.
mmm

Anything improperly fried- that is, grease not being the right temperature and soaking into the food, or if the grease is not properly drained off. Properly fried food is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. No problem.

East Side Mario’s, East Side Mario’s
Hey bada-boom, bada-bing.

Beans.

Instant Breakfast

Sight of oatmeal or biscuits n gravy used to, if I have a hangover… I’d say, “Why?”.

Stuff with high sugar content, especially when eaten on an empty stomach. Sugar alcohols, especially sorbitol, but maltitol does it, too.

High fat content can do it sometimes, but not nearly as often as sugar does.

Caffeine and fast food. Eurgh.

Chocolate, sweet dairy products, soda pop. Those fancy creamy Starbucks concoctions don’t even seem to slow down after swallowing, but rather maintain their tiny momentum.

I suspect the mechanism can include the large colon exuding body moisture back into its contents, because otherwise it should be impossible for something in the stomach to turn what was digested hours ago into, well, what it turns it into.

Oh yea, that too:).

Milk, because I’m Asian and most of us are lactose intolerant. I can drink exactly 1 cup of milk a day. Any more and I risk a bathroom raid

Slim Fast, especially the canned stuff, does it to me. It tastes nasty to me anyhow, so it’s not a big deal.

Cooked green peppers, pepperoni, any diet cola…

Have to be careful with spicy foods too, perforated my bowel in a car accident 20 years ago (sorry if tmi)

Coffee’ll help me going in the morning (as will a cigarette), but, other than that, I can’t think of anything.
