What food sends you straight to the bathroom?

Oh come on people. It’s Taco Bell, it’s always Taco Bell.

Milk for me. It’s surprising how many kinds of food can have the effect (almost every food, it seems). I wonder what’s the mechanism? The body detects something in the food and hits “purge”?

Anything with lots of MSG will have me scurrying to the bathroom soon after ingesting. And then later on. Then again … and again … :eek:

Anything involving a significant amount of fat and grease all in one shot. I’m typically good about avoiding food lie that but have a weakness for take out Indian, my worst offender. I paneer tikka Masala, kulcha and samosas day before yesterday and it shredded my stomach the next day, as usual. Delicious stuff on entry, though.

Corn and lettuce, two of the only vegetables I can stand to eat, oh irony, you cruel mistress.

Ice cream. I can drink milk, I can eat yogurt and cheese, but more than a few bites of ice cream leaves my insides in all sorts of distress. Sucks, because I love me some ice cream.

Iceberg lettuce. Red and green leaf, Romaine, and all the others, I can eat fine. One bite of iceberg lettuce and my digestive tract gets into a major snit.

The soft serve ice-cream stuff like at McDonalds and Wendy’s? No way can I even attempt that.

Diet soda or sugar-free Kool-Aid/Crystal Light/etc. Not pretty.

Oh, that reminds me–any type of “fake” sugar. I can have one swallow of a Diet Coke and my stomach cramps so badly it makes me cry. The rest isn’t pretty either.
