What glue for Pur water pitcher plastic lid?

Need to glue some pieces back onto my “Pur” water pitcher lid. What sort of glue should I use?

Food safe epoxy. Problem is, searching Amazon for such products, I see prices that are more than just buying another pitcher. The cheap epoxy you can get at Walmart is probably not food safe. Just replace the pitcher. In many cases, a new pitcher is only a few dollars more than buying a new filter cartridge.

Or ditch the useless pitcher and get a proper undersink filter. They aren’t that expensive and do dramatically better in testing of the resulting water quality. (because water doesn’t leak past the filter like it does in pitcher filters, and it’s under pressure, so the filter can meaningfully resist flow)

Just get that filtrete. That actually tests out at removing lead and other real contaminants.
