What happened to all the white dog poo we used to get on our streets?
It turns white after being left lying around for a long time, this is now an offence in many places.
Oh and the diet of the average domestic dog is quite different now from what it was maybe twenty years ago.
AFAIK, dogs stopped getting fed bones and bonemeal; thus when the poo dries it doesn’t calcify.
Also (though this may be nonsense) it seems to be wetter these days than it used to be when I was a kid. The poo doesn’t get a chance to dry out any more.
BTW - I got extremely excited on my honeymoon in the Caribbean two months ago when I saw a lump of white dog poo outside our hotel room. I wanted to take a photo of it, but my wife prevented me.
It was a very '80s thing. So clichéd now, darling.
Oh it’s due for a comeback, I’m sure: it’s been all over the outrageous Westwood collection previews, and there are glorious rumours about ‘caca blanca’ Milan summer collections!
You got excited on your honeymoon when you saw white dog poo?!?!?!
Ack!

It was getting to the end of a two-week break trip. There’s only so much luuuuurve one man can take…
Darling - you clearly have not Lived in Milan - It’s Caca Blanca in every summer collection!
I have it all now. Want some?
Only if it’s Prada.
Armani and Gucci are so old hat!

So you have been to Milan Then… I always prefer fashion week in london… so much less fraught and the food is better!
It always was a terrible thing having to look at all those dogs dinners parading about piazza Cadorna every morning… and that was just the models… the doo doo came later!
