What happened to bond holders during the Chrysler bailout?

Were they paid-off in full or was there some kind of penny on the dollar debt settlement?

Just where do bond holders stand in order of precedence when paying off the debts of a bankrupt company? I would think debt to suppliers would be paid first but I have heard different opinions.

I have bought bonds of distressed companies in the past and they have always paid off so I am curious. Chrysler might not be a good example of what typically happens since the government bailed them out but more people are likely to remember that example.
