What happened to Bricker?

Did someone do that without getting jumped all over here?

(You didn’t ask me, but I would say full-on racism.)

It would be yet another opportunity for you to blow a gasket screaming ‘fuck you’.

Shodan

Naah, that was me falling for your (in hindsight, obvious) race baiting re: how wonderful it would be if Apartheid lasted 10 more years. Not a mistake I’d let a cunt like you trick me into twice.

I see you’re still proud of it, though. It’s good to have hobbies. Yours seems to be being racist and proud of it.

Do you mean to imply such a statement should be addressed with quiet reason and logic?

Does he fit the description that you believe qualifies him as an n-word?

You realize it’s labeled as race baiting because those who actually use that term are the ones to see racism literally everywhere with the exception of their own bigoted posts? So, is “white fragility” a function of genes or a function of white culture?

For the record, I did NOT say I believe that Huey is a troll because of “race-baiting”.

Culture. Specifically, the fact that white people never actually have to deal with not being the utterly dominant homogeneous majority, and are as a result utterly unprepared for even the slightest change in that paradigm.

Son, do you even smell the shit you’re shoveling? You know as well as the rest of us that the only people who use the term “race-baiting” are on the right.

If you had a Foghorn Leghorn avatar for that post it would’ve been perfect.

But it’s not homogeneous, not at all. That’s just bizarre.

Utterly dominant, yes, and it is nice (especially for men), nice enough that I would much rather every one shared my benefits than that I lost any.

In the Pit? What fun would that be?

Of course, if you wanted to convince anyone that it wasn’t a question of fragility, perhaps yelling 'fuck you" (or “cunt”) might not be the best way to go about it.

Ask Chris Rock.

Shodan

PS - fuck.

Why would I ask him? He did a comedy bit. You made a non-comedic statement about how to characterize black people. Unless you were just joking – if so, let me know, and I’ll withdraw the question, which remains: in your opinion, does MrDibble qualify as an n-word? Seems like a simple question to me.

Also, Chris Rock has repudiated that bit. He regrets it, mostly for the ammo it gives to racists. You know, the whole “But Chris Rock said it! Why are you getting upset when I say that some black people are n***ers?”

For me, this is what makes the situation in most but not all instances not a “privilege” if it’s no skin off my back or even a benefit to me if everyone else is treated the same way. It isn’t a benefit to me to have to pay the extra costs and untapped resources caused by an unequal justice system. If everyone were equal and someone came up to me with a cunning plan to introduce the current situation with regards to the justice system only, and I were immensely greedy, I’d still go with the equal status quo because it would cost me money. (Education and employment might be another story, however.)

Your “no explanation is needed, wanted or desired” violates not only the spirit of this website but, I believe, its rules as well. However, I won’t report your post, but will instead point out that the answer to your question is contained in your own post (#229), which is quoted below.

If you need me to explain where in your post the answer to your question may be found, I will be happy to do so.

If we are not going to warehouse black men in prisons, we have to do something with them, and that means jobs, and that means education.

I can do enlighten self interest, too.

Dear Diary - TIL that saying a bad word because some racist thinks 10 more years of racist oppression would have been just peachy for my entire country is apparently the same kind of fragility a racist feels when told he should no longer be quite so openly racist…

What the hell are you talking about?

I’m torn between “needing” you to do so, and predicting your explanation is going to be absurd. So, y’know, all ears.

No, I disagree. Cursing is a fine way to express anger.

There is a time for reasoned discussion, but some statements should not be granted the (implied) credence of a reasoned response. “Fuck you” is an appropriate response to such statements, though I prefer “You’re an idiot.”
