Accidents happen all the time but this one begs the skeptical questions.
What sort of restaurant? What sort of shoes was she wearing? Why was there glass someplace that would cut her foot? No Paparazzi? No talk of litigation?

Speculation - she was wearing some kind of revealing strappy high-heeled shoe and stepped on a fallen wine glass, which shattered and cut her.
Well, my guess was that she was wearing glass slippers ala Cinderella, and broke one of them. But yours is more likely.
I find it most curious that there is no details such as what restaurant, where, time of day. Such stories usually have some of these details. I could care less about the facts, it is just that the story seems to be curious in that the facts are missing.
