Now this could have gone into Cafe Society because it was a documentary that popped up in my youtube feed, but since this is not exactly about the program, here it is =)
Lo! these many decades ago, mrAru and I drove out to Fresno and back to Virginia Beach, coming home what we call ‘the southern route’ as we actually are headed back from San Bernadino via Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and so forth. In Arizona for some reason we found ourself near Lake Havasu City and decided to sightsee London Bridge. So into town we went. Drove in and made a series of turns that lead us to the actual lake. Oddly, no sign of London Bridge. So back we drove slowly, looking for a sign. It turns out that first we drove under it, then over it as we went around to the lake.
It would have been nice if they had perhaps had a larger sign =)
