I was trying to dredge up the Flash Fiction-Short Fiction threads from about 2010 to about 2012 or so, where Dopers posted stories according to a set of parameters within a set period of time. The contests were hosted by Le Ministre de l’au-dela. But they don’t seem to be there on a search. All I get is “Oops! That page doesn’t exist or is private.”
Is this some glitch in moving to the new platform, especially since Le Ministre posted our stories, then used spoilers to hide our names and stories; or something about the 3500-character limit, or something else? I wanted to introduce a friend to one of my stories that won a prize in those contests, but I’m told that its thread doesn’t exist. While I have my story on another machine, and on a thumb drive, it is so much easier to point my friend to the SDMB. Is there anything that can be done?
Thanks,
Spoons
