I stopped being able to find it a few years ago. If it was discontinues, why was it discontinued?

What the heck is Toilet Duck?
A gel type of toilet cleaner product.
Probably a marketing thing. It is currently being marketed in South Africa.
It’s widely available in Australia (and they have way cool commercials too)
What do you think the Tidybowl man lives off of?
Wak Wak!
I bought some Toilet Duck a few weeks ago (in Canada). It didn’t work very well, though, so I’m going to try a different brand next time.
Still on sale in the UK… I have a bottle beside the bog right now, purchased only last week.
Quack!
He quit the plumbing business and went into insurance.
(But not before a brief yet unsuccessful stint in cartomancy.)
It no longer echoes.
As you may have gathered it’s toilet cleaning fluid. But the unique thing is that the bottle has a curved spout, making it easier to direct the fluid under the rim of the bowl, and into the hard to reach places.
If you use your imagination it looks sort of a bit like a duck’s neck and head. Slightly.
I remember the commercials when this came out in the early nineties, and I thought it something of an unnecessary duplicate as the commercial touted these “unique” qualities:
"(The head is angled so that it gets under the rim)!"—With regard to my memory and lifespan, no bottle of toilet cleaner that I have seen came without an angled head so that it could reach sufficiently under the rim.
"(It’s thick so it stays on for a long time, thereby eradicating more of those nasty microbial bastards)!"—All the cleaners I have seen are comparably thick. Plus, they’re also usually blue in color, which is comforting in that I’m-not-burning-out-on-the-usual-hue-of-bathroom-emissions-by-using-a-cleaner-that-is-opposingly-colored way.
Anyway, there didn’t seem to be a real niche for this cleaner at the time of its inception, which confused me. Damned duplicate duck.
