What happens if I don't use a bundt pan?

Ooh! Ooh! I have a fun Bundt pan story.

When I was a kid, my Mom was making *something *(long lost to memory) that required a Bundt pan, but she didn’t have one. She borrowed one from a neighbor down the street, no problem. When she was done with it, washed & dried the pan, she found that it was all scratched up inside, and Mom was horrified. She immediately splurged on a new Bundt pan (which she was trying to avoid in the first place) and sent the new one back to the neighbor. The neighbor called a few days later to ask where her scratched-up old Bundt pan was, and why she was given this fancy, shiny new one!

Since then we’ve used our very own Bundt pan loads of times. Anybody remember the old boxed Tunnel-of-Fudge mixes? Mmmm. Tunnel of Fudge. I miss those.

I got my Mom this one since she loves carousels  Not too many sharp edges.

Surprised no one’s suggested doing a test cake, just to see if you like the results. Like nuking from orbit, it’s the way to be sure.
