What happens to the families of suicide bombers?

To a large extent, the identities of the Palestinian suicide bombers are known. Indeed, I have seen/read many pieces in the media where their family members are interviewed (and often come across as quite proud).

What, if anything, do the Israelis do to the families of the bombers?

(One could make the case that the number of volunteers for suicide missions would decrease substantially if prospective recruits knew their families would suffer reprisal. But that is a matter for Great Debates. For now, I am asking a question: What happens to the families of suicide bombers?)

I am not sure what the Israelis do for the families for the suicide bombers, I have read in news reports that there are several charitable organizations that give them money or other help. This may not be entirely true, but this was used as a reason to freeze the assets of several Muslim charities and organizations after September 11. Also, I believe that most life insurance policies pay even if the person commits suicide.

They are hailed as heros. At the moment Israel does nothing.

I don’t think you understood the question.

Doesn’t Israel destroy the homes of suicide bombers? I heard the family of this last suicide bomber was waiting for their home to be leveled by Israel.

I saw somewhere (don’t know if it was credible) a representative of Saddam Hussein has been writing checks for $15,000 to the families. It said until recently the amount was $10,000.
