My wife was on Zyban for 10 days while smoking. Then stopped smoking and continued on the Zyban. It’s been 12 days without a smoke (which is amazing for her) and she has zero cravings, no weight gain and is quite pleasent to be around (which is REALLY amazing if you knew what she was like in her previous attempts to quit) SO, she’s got about 14 days worth of Zyban left. I gotta know, what happens when the Zyban ends. Will she get the cravings? Will she get all naggy and crave a smoke? Has anyone out there succesfully quit smoking while on Zyban. Are there any surprizes we’re in for?
Did you ask the doctor who prescibed the Zyban?
It worked great for me until my Mother had a heart attack and I found my emergency pack on the way to the ER.
I experienced side effects; getting too close to the metal magazine rack at the grocery store made my head hurt like eatting ice cream too fast. PC monitors swam. I’ve tried it again since, and the side effects made me give up.
After the first Zyban try, it was just a minor annoyance. I was very easily angered for the first couple of weeks, though. I took on a salesman at work twice my size, and he literally backed away from me.
Good luck to her.
