go to http://www.allmusic.com. Here’s a portion of their bio that can be found there…
Papal encyclicals prior to the late 1800s.
In fact, if you go on-line, you’d think the practically whole Middle and Dark ages never happened!!
A Costa Rican Oxcart:
You may have to leave the house to get a Calvin and Hobbs T-shirt. You can sometimes find them at swap meets.
I’ve been trying to find information on the medieval humoral theory. You know, the one about everything is warm/cold/wet/dry or some combination thereof? I do historical cooking as a hobby and I need some in depth information on food humors. What I really want is a nice chart with all the foods described in an easy-to-understand format.
Quince. Flowering quince. A site that sells same.
Actually, I found a couple, but they sell only bonsai versions. I want something I can stick in my backyard and grow, not something I have to pamper in a pot.
I don’t know why this would be so freakin’ hard to find, but it is.
tsarina - See if this helps you - http://www.abebooks.com
They list two copies of “King Matt The First,” one for $95 and one for $124. Since this is a book search service, they will have other copies from time to time and you might find an even cheaper copy.
Bumbazine - I couldn’t find a good purine list, but I found some small lists that you may find useful. It’s very annoying that no one has a good list, since so many people and dogs need to cut down on purines. Yes, I now know that Dalmations have trouble with purines. So I did learn something.

Ug. Kill the music. But there is a chart that gives a range of purine amounts for many foods.

This is similar to the above chart. Check out the little footnotes - they tell you the nutrition books they used as sources. One of these books might be what you need.

Try these people.
A decent link to, or picture of, McEwans Ale. I get a bunch of bars that stock it, but not much else.
ElvisL1ves, may you be immortal.
Or at least live long and prosper.
Best I could find was this.
Yeah, I forgot to mention the uninteresting McEwan’s Export (India Pale Ale). The Ale is the thing…
I still haven’t found the teapot, but there’s now a Royal Stafford Clovelly “small dish” at ebay…

It’s only at $4.99 right now with a little over 1 day left to bid. Perhaps she might like to add this piece to her collection.
my friend has this tin badge with the phrase chicken inspector 23 on it. i have been looking everywhere on the net for one like it or for the origin of what that could possibly mean with no luck.
Tsarina:
http://www.bookfinder.com has “The book of Yolek” for $35.00
and
"King Matt the First"for $94.00
Hope this helps.
Thanks for that link. I just tried it and found a book I’ve been trying to find for the last few days. Amazon, abebooks, etc., were useless.
I’ve been looking for an interior painting guide that lets you experiment with bold colors. You know, like maybe showing you a standard furnished room, and with the push of a button see how it would look with brilliant red walls instead of eggshell. I keep seeing tantalising links that seem like they’d do this, but they are either lame text-only articles about choosing color, or they load so damned slowly I give up before I can discover if they’re what I’m looking for.
I also can’t find (anymore) a really good list of ideas on how to use a Victorian theme for a wedding. Same with a western theme. I can find a dozen sites selling western-style wedding wear, but none just offering IDEAS.
This site has both Victorian and Western theme ideas…
(See links at http://www.weddingthemes.com/westwedding.htm and http://www.weddingthemes.com/vicwedding.htm )
Also, while you’re there, check out their message boards. If you go with the Victorian theme, someone’s posted some links to sites that have Victorian recipes!
Check out these sites as well…
