My Grandmother recommended eating something salty and drinking two glasses of water. Works for me every time.

Reading. Anything. Preferably a magazine article or a short-chaptered book. But in a pinch, the back of a shampoo bottle will suffice. Nothing to read = sluices shut tight…TRM

I’m laughing so hard, I think this is one of the best whooshes I’ve ever seen.

And for me, it’s any hot beverage.

When I smoked, nicotine. Sometimes I would light up and go from “no train on the schedule” to “train here RIGHT NOW”.

Seriously, smoking did it for me.
