Peel the chocolate off the bottom flat part and eat it.
Pick the chocolate off the ends and eat it.
Unroll the rest of the chocolate from the outside. It should come off in a single sheet. I love it when it does. When it cracks I feel very cheated. I always do this part carefully.
Unroll the cake part.
Lick the frosting off the cake.
Eat the cake.
After you get good at this it should only take you three minutes to eat a Swiss Roll.

You know, I really want a Hostess cupcake right now (my choice from the Ho-Ho, Ding Dong, etc. family). Now, these things are crap, and every time I eat one I feel cheated and betrayed by my memory of how good they were when I was a kid, but about once a year this compulsion comes over me and I buy a pack and eat them. You, my Doper Friends, are responsible for triggering this year’s foray into foods best left fondly remembered but currently uneaten.
Ah well, hope spring eternal, maybe this year they will have been restored to the glory of chocolately, marshmellowly creamy goodness I remember from childhood. Wish me luck.
