What if an astronaut commits a crime in space?

What if an astronaut kills another astronaut in space? Being that there are no laws in space, is he subject to the laws of the spacecraft he’s on?

What if he kills another astronaut on the moon?

I know it’s a weird question, but sometimes reality is stranger than fiction and anything is possible I guess.
