I understand what you said. I was trying to explain my own view.
The difference is that I do believe there is an ultimate truth about love. Something that is true and consistent for all people.

People may indeed believe that other things are more important.

O.K., so then we can agree that “Love is the most important thing” is a subjective statement, since it is not true for all people. That’s really all I was getting at - the different between objective and subjective.

I asked you a question a few posts back about changing how we feel being part of the intellectual process. I’d be interested in your thoughts on that if you have time.

I didn’t say it had nothing to do with your statement. I said I understand what you said. I don’t completely disagree but…

Here’s a significant difference of opinion. My suggestion is that it is actually true for all people in a real sense, even if they don’t believe it.

It may not be something physical that we can establish as objective truth, but if it is true for all people then what is it?
