Of course he wouldn’t. Trump usually repays slavish devotion by subordinates with callous disregard.
I could actually see that happening, if the Whitebread Sepulcher has delusions of future political relevance in a post-Trump GOP…
Ask not for who the bus tolls…
If Trump doesn’t win in November Pence’s political career is over. Being the running mate of a losing candidate doesn’t make you a rising star and the only thing that anyone remembers about him was the degree to which his lips were firmly attached to Trumps posterior. He’s got the reputation as a follower not a leader.
The reason that Pence hitched his wagon to $45’s campaign is because his career was pretty much over.
No one else wanted the job, for fear of it destroying their future political prospects.
Mike Dense coming out of the '24 primaries after four years of Trump and the kids yapping on twitter and his new tv show (and maybe even Junior throwing his hat into the ring) would be a pretty good scenario for the next Dem candidate.
Former Vice President Dense will place himself in the role of “protector of the Supreme Court,” which will have spent four years duking it out with a Dem White House and Congress. Which might be enough for the remaining Trumpian base but not enough to win the support of an increasingly liberal national electorate, dismayed at the SC’s obstruction.
That’s a fare pun.
Let me off here, please.
