Back when I was a tiny lad, I liked the music of Barry Louis Polisar(probably misspelled). I wish I still had my tapes, as for the past several years I have been hankering to listen to I Eat Kids.
Well, you don’t have to worry about that, because he’s sixteen now, and his voice has changed.
Jeez, people. I would start a Pit thread, but today is not the day, since I’m upset about this hostage situation and don’t think it would be appropriate. But I’m sick of the way people expect Haley to be eternally nine, with the high, squeaky voice, and “Oh, isn’t he cute! He uses big words, like he really knows what they mean!” According to what I’ve been reading lately, he’s cultivating good taste in music and movies, and he’s intellectual almost to the point of being a Doper. He was never just a “kid actor”; he’s always been an actor. And, I’m confident, will continue to be.

Boy, if you’ve ever heard the lyrics wrong because the singing was too fast, or wasn’t clear (while I kiss this guy … What?), just think of the egg on one’s face after growing up listening to Kidz Bop and then hearing the “real” version for the first time.
