What is a "Center-Cut Jumbo?" (Pittsburgh Area)

I recently visited a relative in the Pittsburgh, PA area. While there, I picked up an old Pittsburgh area guide book. In it, under tailgating at Steelers’ games, they mention some sort of food called a “Center-Cut Jumbo” and all they say is that “it’s a Pittsburgh thing.”… I’ve Gooled, Yahooed, and generally scoured the internet to find out what this is; I have yet to find the answer. Please help a fellow frustrated Doper; ID a Center-Cut Jumbo for me.

Nothing fancy–it’s just bologna.

Right. And the “center-cut” is just a goof. It’s homogeneous all the way through, not like bacon or pork chops, which really can be “center-cut”.
