So I’m listening to Tommy and they play Tommy’s Holiday Camp. I’ve read references to holiday camps in Beatle biographies.
What then, is a holiday camp? Hmmm?
A holiday camp is a basically a a holiday resort owned by one company with all the entertainment, amenties, accomadation en situ (sic).
Well, a “holiday” in Britain (and Australia) is what we call a “vacation.” An educated guess leads me to believe a Holiday Camp is the same as a Summer Camp, though Club Med might be closer.
