I may be interviewing for a job at a radio station where one of my job duties would be “Writing sales proposals”. I’ve obviously never done this before, and would like to have some knowledge of them before going in. Thanks for any information/examples!

From the point of view of a radio station, a sales proposal should tell the prospective client:

[li]Why he should advertise on your station, as opposed to others[/li][li]What demographics your station can deliver[/li][li]Applicable Nielsen ratings figures[/li][li]What he will get for his money (how many spots in which dayparts, etc.)[/li][li]How much it will cost him[/li][/ul]
