So D thinks his place is to be conscripted and sent to die in battle?
Sure! My son would be at home, taking care of me in my old age, just like my husband does for his mom.
Lot’s of stupid replies here, I am a bit busy wading through the shit…
I believe that women should submit themselves gracefully to their husbands like it says in Ephesians. The only rare exceptions would be their husband leading the wife into sin.
Ephesians 5:22
“Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.”
Give it up, people, he’s one of those.
And I believe that women should be (and thankfully generally are) smart enough to have nothing to do with the likes of you. Also that as soon as you take a holy work as your ONLY FUCKING REASON TO THINK SOMETHING, you should be disqualified from ever arguing anything again. This is not the fucking dark ages.
What a second, in another GD thread, Curtis LeMay is taking atheists to task for interpreting the bible too literally. So metaphorically speaking, Ephesians as quoted above means something entirely different and we (as well as the OP) are interpreting it incorrectly.
Shouldn’t this thread submit itself gracefully elsewhere?
What if the husband instructs the wife to work? Should she submit gracefully or stand up for her rightful place, cooking meatloaf and doling out blowjobs?
A man’s word if final, I cannot argue with that, the woman has to do as told or face the wrath, she has to work…
And if the husband instructs the wife that she should drive, vote, etc?
What if the husband instructs the wife to disagree with him, if she believes he is wrong?
Is there a debate here? I’m not seeing it.
I’ve banned the OP as a troll, so am closing this thread.
