My brother just sent me a zipped copy of a great simulation game, but I can’t get my computer to open it. My brother is at work all day, so I won’t be able to get the info from him (he’s across the world in Italy).

The file is an SMC file. How can I use it and open it?

Based upon your post and information at FILExt.com, I’d say it’s a Super NES ROM image. There’s some links in the FILExt entry that may help you.

You’re going to need a SNES emulator. The best one is ZSNES . If for whatever reason you can’t get that to work, there’s also Snes9x .
