What is BigFix about to to my computer?

a window came up when i clicked on one of those little update bubbles eMachines computers have sometimes. it said:

so, what is this and how do i back up my system?

This page describes what the Rollup is. What they want you to do is make a backup/ copy of all your data that might be lost if the Update causes some kind of hard drive failure. You can always re-install any software you own but its the data that you want to save.I have never installed this particular update so I have no direct experience with it. Doesn’t give the most secure feeling does it ? XP also has System Restore so you may want to make a Restore Point before installing this update. Read about Sytem Restore here.

I don’t get that warning when using Windows update on XP, and I didn’t get it when using 98SE or 95 either.
