So, today I found out I got in to the Arizona branch of Girls State. If you don’t know what that is, it’s a program in a lot of states put on by the American Auxiliary Legion where girls from all over the state meet up at a college and pretend they’re part of a city, county, and state–they elect officials, and so on.
It sounds neat and I’m excited.
I’ve checked out the web site* and while they’re pretty informative, they don’t give much information about the actual day to day dorm life of a delegate except that we’ll be living in a dorm room with 2 other girls.
ok, so, has anyone else been to Girls State, or know anyone who went? What was it like–the day-to-day, I mean?
