This computer problem is really bugging me out.
Get it…?
Bug…
Anyway…I just finished building a new PC. It’s a 2.8 gig 800mhz front side bus smoking fast system with a 6 channel out sound card. Every thing works fine except for the audio. Every sound, song and wave file is being played at a higher speed and all of my music (CD’s or radio) sounds like the Chipmunks are singing the songs.
What is doing this??
The only thing that I could think of was that perhaps I had mistakenly over clocked the mother board by mistake but this is not the case. All diagnoses utilities clock my bus and CPU speed as being correct. I tested the sound card out in another system and it works fine so the card is not the problem. Has anyone heard of such a problem or have an idea of what is causing this???
Tell us more about your motherboard and soundcard (brand, manufacture, etc.)
I’ve heard of this problem occuring, though yours seems more severe since it applies to EVERY sound file played.
what music player are you using? try a different one. sounds like the music player is stuck in fast foward
