I’m not particularly fond of Star Wars so comparing the two movies does nothing to quell my apathy. It looks like it’s a nice enough movie visually and I might see it at the second run theatre a few months down the road if I’ve nothing better to do but it’s not anything I want to spend $10 on.
Why has no one mentioned Gia?
Honestly, it’s not even that. I kept wondering why the girl fish from the “Shark Tale” ads kept captivating me, then I found out she is voiced by none other than this thread’s raisin debtor.
Ms. Jolie is without question this decade’s purest definition of sex appeal. Her voice, her eyes, her lips, her figure (celebrate the fact that she’s actually got CURVES!)… And also her attitude. Since I first became entranced by her in Hackers, she’s been the standard for sexiness.
And I won’t go so far as to say I dislike her nude scenes, but it does seem, to me at least, that she is more appealing clothed than not. C’mon, look at the scenes from “Sky Captain” - who else could make an eyepatch and jodhpurs that hot?
Yeah, I saw Hackers years after the fact. She’s amazing in that. Exactly the kind of girl that struck awe in me as a teen. So good in Girl, Interrupted, too. And Tomb Raider is just a trip.
But it’s her, not just her roles. She’s amazing. I got even more infatuated with her after she became known as a world affairs activist, especially that she chose to make ties with Cambodia.
Just curious… did you mean, “I’d still do” or “I’ve still done”?
Well, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ling Bai are worth at least $2.50 apiece, so I’m going.
