Before I get to my OP, this relates to it. I heard complaints about post parties, the shear HATRED of these parties was news to me. I, Mercutio, solemnly promise not to have another post party until I reach 1,000,000 posts.
Sorry to have ticked off the regs. So to hopefully solve problems here with the newbies (at least for now anyways) I propose this thred.

This stems from a thread in The Pit where it was pointed out that newbies post pointless threads, so to help newbies (like I) out, I call upon the Regs to point out to us what is “simply just not done”. What is too Taboo for the SDMB?

I do know that there’s a list of questions not to ask (stuff like the third word ending in gry and parking on a driveway) on the unofficial website (the same one as the People Pages)

Why don’t you ask this question in the right forum-About This Message Board, for a start?
