Alan Sherman - Harvey and Sheila
“'Til Time and Times are Done” by Suzanne Ciani ('cuz of the leading apostrophe… the library list seems to be sorted ASCIIbetically.)
Aaron Copland’s ‘Music for the Theatre’.
Absolutely Sweet Marie, by Bob Dylan
Annihilate This Week-- Black Flag
A.D. 1928 from Styx’s Paradise Theater album.
1, 2, 3 by Gloria Estefan
If numbers and punctuation are excluded, it would be “ABC” by the Jackson 5.
If I hit Shuffle on my iPod Touch, it’s Dancing With the Dead, by Incendio.
Going strictly alphabetical, it’s the Achy Breaky Song, by Weird Al Yancovic. <facepalm>
That one’s mine, too!
Mine defaults to Artist | Album | 1st song, so if I forget to put it on shuffle it starts with It Was There That I Saw You by … And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead.
I’m to stupid to figure out how to get it to show all music sorted alphabetically, so all I can offer is the first song to come on when I hit Random shuffle.
The Toronto Song by Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie.
Ditto.
Abandon Ship from American Bugle Calls
Not really a song; but it is the first in alpha order
Acela by Fountains of Wayne
“2 Minutes To Midnight” by Iron Maiden
If I skip songs starting with a numeral, the first song is, “A Breed Apart” by a band called “Chalk”, whom I found on MP3.com many many years ago.
That’s mine, also, but only if you include “the cloud”, which only works if I have a wifi connection. The only folder I deliberately put on the phone was a folder of exercise music. So if I don’t have a connection, the first one is Air (Bach) Power Music Workout, Classic Cardio Workout 2.
(Does anyone else have Ballad of Dr. Who in their exercise folder?)
Like the OP, it’s A-Punk by Vampire Weekend.
If you go alphabetical by Artist (which is how I prefer to sort my music), its Thunderstruck (live) by AC/DC.
Love that song, would way rather have that than AC Newman.
“À la manière de Borodin” by Maurice Ravel (on my desktop, sorting all my iTunes tracks in alpha order).
