AC/DC’s Who Made Who
The A-Treatment (Laika and the Cosmonauts).
My least favorite Maiden song. Never understood why it’s always in the classic setlists.
A by Barenaked Ladies.
When I plug my iPod into my car I get the first song by artist. Adam & The Ants - Goody Two Shoes
“Absolute” by Worlds Collide, a long-broken up DC hardcore band.
Aaron by JD Eicher & the Goodnights
Absolute Elsewhere by Nellie McKay
Media Monkey sorts this track first alphabetically:
ΔMi−1 = −αΣn=1NDi[n][Σj∈CFji[n − 1] + Fexti[n−1] by Aphex Twin, from the Windowlicker EP
It’s one of his more, err, challenging works…
- I can’t be arsed sorting out the subscripts and superscripts, but you get the idea
On my iPhone, it’s “A.C. Newman vs Chris Brown - Drug Drug Kiss Kiss,” a mashup by The Hood Internet (who’s listed as the artist). Not counting that, it’s “A.T.H.F.” by Danger Doom.
A Man This Lonely by Brooks & Dunn
FileName = “001 By 7/30.mp3” Actual song title = “By 7:30” Track Artist = “Vonda Shepard”
Multiple tracks from multiple original source albums were combined artificially by me and I used a file renamer to give them consecutively numbered filenames. I could have gone with 2 digits’ worth of file number but I wasn’t sure at the time — too lazy to count and knew for sure I didn’t have 1000 of them in there.
The real-life original album name was also “By 7:30” coincidentally.
My “device” is a computer
I have a lot of songs with symbols or numbers.
First, period: “…and bells remembered…” by John Luther Adams.
First, with parentheses: “(Da Le) Yaleo” by Santana from the Supernatural album.
First, with numbers: “01 - A Scandal in Bohemia”, from the audiobook The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
Skip waaaay down through the numbers, and the first with an A is “A Better Man” by KEVEN.
“40” - u2.
ETA: for some reason it won’t let me make the U in U2.
First four because I want to add comments:
A&E by Goldfrapp
A.C.D.C by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts (saw someone listed this song, but by The Sweet)
AA XXX by Peaches
Absolutely Sweet Marie by Bob Dylan (a few others listed this)
How weird. I thought it was because the only letter in your original post was a capital, and you can’t post in all caps. But I tried a test and found that I could post just
U2.
…and it’s fine, but posting
“40” - U2.
…persistently switches to lower case, even though it’s OK as a line in this post. What’s that about?
Ah-Ah/O-No Willie Colon and Hector LaVoe when on song, which it always is. Unless somebody messes with it, then it’s album and I get Rolling In The Deep off of Adele’s 21 (as if anybody doesn’t know where Rolling In The Deep comes from).
Oh man, I used to LOVE this song and then I totally forgot it existed until I read this. Now I have to go listen to it.
ETA: Had to stop before the end. Man, far too much '80s. I can’t believe how much I loved that New Wavy crap.
“A-1 On the Jukebox” by Dave Edmunds. That’s what I hear when my podcast app is no longer active, so it just defaults to the music player. It was never my favorite song to begin with, but I am really tired of it now.
Might be the most appropriate song title for this thread, though!
