I think this can sneak in under GQ since I’m looking for some facts, and I don’t want to go throught the rigamarole of making a poll for IMHO. I’m interested in knowing what the going rate is for baby sitters. Do they charge by the kid anywhere? Or is it almost always by the hour? How much? Thanks. xo, C.
The standard rate around here is $8-10/hr for sitters you would hire through a service. If it’s the kid up the street, I might go a bit lower, but not much. You should expect to pay more for multiple kids.
