Exclude titles that begin with punctuation, such as an apostrophe, parenthesis, etc.

You must include the artist (not the composer, unless they are the same person) or your submission will not be counted.

Polls will appear in this thread once we reach 100 or 150 nominations, depending on when we hit a wall

Full disclosure: when this issue was first raised I checked back thru my previous submissions - zero female artists - I was both mystified and appalled at myself. This time around, if I Will Always Love You hadn’t been one of my favorite songs; and the late and very, very great Dusty one of my favorite singers; I would probably have found myself leaning towards a little positive discrimination. However, absolutely no need, as it happens.
