Man or Astro-Man? - The Miracle of Genuine Pyrex

Crucifucks - Mountain Song

The Breeders - Metal Man

Lightning Bolt - The Metal East

Message To My Girl - Split Enz

A Message to You Rudy - The Specials

My other ideas were already taken, so I’ll be back when I think of some more.

Are we allowed to make “suggestions” that don’t count against our “submissions”?

I assume so, since @Mean_Mr.Mustard and others have been doing so.

I personally have avoided doing so, since I figure that if a song isn’t in my top five and no one else happens to think of it for themselves, it’s probably not “the best song.” But that’s just me.

I suppose we should scale back on that. I am going to stop.

It might be better to wait until the polls are posted - then the suggestions would be more along the lines of how on earth did we forget X ???

In the future I will reply to these with a mild admonishment.

mmm

Yes, agreed. I’m certain that Joplin performed his pieces. Allowed.

Outstanding, both of these. If anyone does not know this Elvis tune you should go looking for it.

Done.

mmm

Why, thank you very much mmm.

Here is Man Out Of Time:

Mercy, Mercy, Mercy - Cannonball Adderley Quintet

Actually, the entire album is Golden.

mmm

That’s probably a good idea - I realized (after my infraction in this thread, oops) that having the song name in a post might not be good if people are doing a thread search for a key word or two in a song title or performer name, thus thinking that the song they’re wanting to enter has already been taken rather than just suggested.

My apologies, folks, carry on…

Just a heads up on a new rule: Please do not post title suggestions for others to submit. This takes a little of the fun out of the process.

It is ok, once the polls are posted, to name titles that have been overlooked.

Thanks,

mmm
