What is the crime history of Zimmerman's neighborhood he was "watching"?

I’ve purposely ignored this entire thing because I knew there wouldn’t ever be enough information for me to come to a solid conclusion.

But having said that, I’m glad this question was asked, I had no idea about the crime in that area and assumed a gated community was low in crime and that gz was probably overzealous. But this information gives me a more favorable view of gz…still don’t know what happened though.

I just learned today that the two little black boys that Zimmerman was mentoring had a father who was in prison. So he had been following our president’s advice before it was given. Good on him.

I don’t remember where I’ve heard this and it very well not be substantiated anywhere. So if it’s false, mea culpa, world.

I don’t believe we have any reason to believe that he was really on his way to the store, though.

The Miami Herald reports there were 402 police calls to The Retreat at Twin Lakes development between January 1, 2011 and Feb 26, 2012. Zimmerman made 8 of those calls, including the now infamous call the night Trayvon Martin was shot.

So George Zimmerman made about 2% of the reports for that neighborhood over that period of time.

Most of Zimmerman’s 46 calls were not related to matters within the Retreat at Twin Lakes neighborhood.

It doesnt make a difference to you how much proof there is, anything that paints your boy gz in a less than stellar light, you dismiss. It would be a more honest debate if zimmerbots would at least be able to admit even the most basic proven facts but I guess why the name zimmerbots was coined

For the 14 or 16 month time period prior to the assault and justifiable shooting in Twin Oaks, GZ averaged around 1 call per week to the police. The residents of the Retreat at Twin Oaks averaged around 1 call per day to the police.

One of the Sanford PD employees who delt with neighborhood watches testified that she had researched Twin Oaks crime history when she had been asked to help start a Twin Oaks neighborhood watch. She testified that there had been many reported burglaries in the neighborhood.

Why bother? Even if hard evidence falls on your head, you will deny it. As far as citing how about gzs storyline? He said tm was pounding his head so hard he almost felt he would black out, yet det cerino stated his injurIes didnt support that story, he didnt have any skull fractures. What is gzs “cite” for just about every thing he claimed happened? Just him sayin so…Why the hell didnt he go to the ER after, since he claimed his calls were to “save his life” from being almost beaten to death…yet, that same life wasnt worth a trip to the ER? He knew of course the ER doctors wouldnt find evidence of injuries consistent with such a brutal beating..

I’m not sure how “he didn’t get hit hard enough to fracture his skull” becomes evidence against George Zimmerman. (since it implies that there was evidence that he was getting his head hit against the ground- which, if you admit that, that in and of itself, should provide reasonable doubt from a murder charge)

Zimmerman may have profiled Trayvon due to past burglaries committed by black males in the neighborhood, but it’s difficult to label him a racist based on his past actions.
