There were reports of unidentified, armed men taking protesters in Portland into custody in unmarked vans. The unidentified men were later suspected as being from from Homeland Security, but I haven’t heard anything as to the outcome of the people taken into custody. Has there been any follow-up on these reports? Are there people who have been “disappeared?”
No, None of the people who were stopped and placed in vans during the Portland events by local or federal officers have permanently disappeared. All have been accounted for.
