What is the holy grail?

One person asked, “what is the holy grail” and the reply was that it did notexist. If you read the book “the Da Vinci Code” u will c the holy grail described as religous documents that supposedly prove that Jesus was married to Mary Magdelene. If you look if up, all the historic references are factual. Try looking up the Priory of Sion.

A link to the column in question is helpful. What is the Holy Grail?

By the way, The Da Vinci Code is a work of fiction. This hardly qualifies it a source of accurate historical information. You don’t seriously mean to suggest this work be taken as authoritative, do you?

Why not, QED? It worked for Dianetics.

Various, mostly recent, on-site, links:

Cecil on Were Jesus and Mary Magdalene lovers?.

Indeed. Just to avoid anybody repeating themselves (well, mainly myself), a relevant thread from the last month or so in this forum.

And, in an ongoing discussion in Cafe Society, Dopers don’t seem generally impressed by Dan Brown.

The last link should, of course, be this.

I’ve already got one.
It’s very nice.

Well, uh…

Could we come up and have a look?

If you’re going to spoil some of the suprise or suspense of a novel, motion picture of TV show, it’s standard procedure to use a spoiler warning like this:

What is the holy grail? (Spoiler: Da Vinci Code)

Or a spoiler box like this “[SPOYLER]big secret[/SPOILER]”, with correct spelling.

The Mona Lisa is a man.

By clicking and dragging your mouse pointer over the box, you can reveal another hidden secret of the “Da Vinci Code”.
