I expect him to spend his time trying to pass stupid bills like national school prayer, anti-LGBTQ, opposing common sense gun legislation, a national abortion ban and the like. He won’t succeed, but he’ll gum up the works as well as he can.
Well, school prayer and most anti LGBTQ stuff will be blocked by SCOTUS. But yes, I fear for any common sense gun laws. Biden got a nice little bill passed some time ago, I guess that will be it until 2025.
It won’t get that far. The Senate won’t vote for it, and if they do, Biden won’t sign it. There are hardly enough votes to override a veto.

The House’s leverage is the budget. They will try to push as much of their agenda as possible into the appropriations bills through policy riders. Of course, the Senate and Administration won’t initially agree to them, and then it’s a game of chicken to see who’s willing to yield on what in order to keep the government functioning.
I wouldn’t be so complacent about the Supreme Court upholding any pro LGBTQ laws. They’ll strike down Obegerfell as soon as they they get the chance. They’ll also remove any barriers to school prayer as well.

Well, since they’re almost entirely un-regulated and refuse to adhere to the standards the rest of their profession abide by, I’d argue they’re MORE susceptible to corruption, but due to the comparatively small sample size to date, I wouldn’t make statistically viable predictions.
I would think they’ll never get past the Senate to the President’s desk, let alone to the SCOTUS.
Speaking as an LGBTQ person (well, G, anyway) such bills and court cases don’t need to go anywhere. The fact that the House and the Supreme Court are listening to anti-LGBTQ forces sends a pretty powerful message about where we really stand as Americans, and how much we can really rely on decisions like Obergefell. One of my reasons for staying ex-pat: not only can my rights be taken away at the stroke of a pen, there are also some really powerful people out there who’d like to see that happen, or who at least perform publicly as if they do.
Which is something that I believe many in the USA kind of engaged in wishful thinking about. On these sorts of issues a huge sector of American society had barely made it to the point of grudging tolerance and as various recent cases show, it was never a matter of it being a “Done Deal, No Use Fighting It” for them.
It’s made worst because of the gaslighting that it is a done deal. It’s part of their strategy to get us to stop fighting.

I do expect that partly riding on that it won’t get past Senate/WH, the House will do a lot of posturing about Culture War issues in bills they pass. Heck, when this whole mess got triggered they were in the middle of slugging it out with some of their own over sticking pet riders the rest of the caucus did not care about on the appropriation bills.
