I have never understood this desire, and tend to think guys who think like this are bad at sex. Maybe it’s just me, but I kind of want recognition that I’m good at it, how’s a virgin going to know?
Pretty much everyone has hit on it, except one thing. Pedophilia doesn’t seem to be common in these things. The victims are usually at least mid-pubescent, and most seem to be post-pubescent.
I’m not advocating for changing the age of consent or the laws not allowing even kids over that age from getting with their teachers, but I do want to say it’s a far more common biological urge to be attracted to post-pubescents. The problem is not with their physical form but their mental age.
And, what’s worse, female on male statutory rape is less condemned by society, and only recently been treated as a problem. Men seem more used to the idea that there are attractive younger women than it would be wrong to have sex with. We’re used to avoiding the appearance of impropriety, which has the advantage of keeping us out of situations where our genitals are making the decisions.
I mean, while I don’t think it went beyond flirting, my 10th grade English teacher clearly flirted a bit with the high school athletes, and no one really thought bad of her for it.

There is a lot of stupidity associated with many of our laws not distinguishing between having sex with a 4-year old and with a 17-year, 364-day year old.
As well as a lot of non-clarity on what the term “pedophilia” means, in strict psychological parlance, legal parlance (all 50-plus flavors), and everyday use.
I agree. Also they lack personal discipline and self control. I bet that shows up in other aspects of their lives: speeding tickets, late bill payments, credit card debt, unprofessional attire.
What’s the impulse? They’re mentally ill human beings. There wouldn’t be any debate on this point if it was a man having sex with multiple 13 years olds; both are child molesters who need help and/or a cell.
But the thread is about vamps!
Have you seen some of the teenaged boys these days? They’re no less desirable than some teenaged girls. And lack of scruples or self-control in adults knows no gender.
