I reverse searched it and nothing came up. Was it totally unique for the movie? Looks like they aren’t just selling the same shirt style, but the actual shirt worn in the movie.
Thanks! Yes, it is possible it was a unique t-shirt they made for the movie, but he wears other known logo shirts in the movie, so my guess is that this is some type of brand.
I’ve asked on Reddit, but received no replies.
Well dang! Nice work.
It really is an intriguing logo/mark, isn’t it?
It’s pendant shaped, but also calls to mind a guitar, or the UK flag, or an anchor. My guess is it was, as suggested, made up for the film just to avoid any specific references or copyright ownership. A designer on the crew probably knocked it out in a couple of hours (I made mine in about 20 minutes).
That seems possible, but what about the other shirts that reference actual logos/products? Those might have been product placement deals, whereas this t-shirt was just filler.
It looks a lot like an alchemical symbol - vaguely like Summer, but with an arrow rather than a hook.
The logo on the left sleeve says Sakal Board Shop (the last of the four photos on this page, the one showing the COA).
I think this is it. They appear to make surf boards with various original designs. I’m guessing they just got a cool looking t-shirt there and gave it to Walker to wear.
So the logo is probably a surfboard stylized as a notched arrowhead, or the feathers of an arrow. If you like the design, you can find something similar in Native American silver feather jewelry.
I’d you go to Sakal’s website it looks like a version of their logo.
Thanks, everyone. At this point, it does seem like something that was custom-made for the movie!
Indeed, especially in this image.
Apparently Paul Walker was a surfer and friends with Ryan Sakal.
Thanks, my friends, for the further information!
