What is the melting point of a contact lens? Will it adhere to an eyeball if someone gets close enough to melt it?? :smack:

If someone gets close enough to melt your contact, the heat alone will probably severly damadge your eye regardless of the presence of contacts. If you were planning on pouring boiling water in your eye, I doubt the presence, or absence, of contacts will have any real effect

What is the level of heat energy being emitted by the “someone” in your OP?

Acrylic lenses probably melt at around 130°C.
Silicone hydrogels probably won’t melt unless heated to a much higher temperature, but they will shrink as the included water boils off.
