What is the minimum speed of air or CO2 to blow out a match?

A match from a regular matchbook, the ones they give free when you buy cigarettes. Assume local still environment.

Direction, focus, amount of air, humidity, and temperature must matter, right?

I’m not sure for air, but the speed would be negligible for CO[sub]2[/sub]. The match would go out as soon as the oxygen around it was displaced.

I think one or two meters per second, depending on how big the flame is and what the angles of velocity and gravity relative to the stick. One m/s is walking speed.
