What is the name of this style of drink?

I’m drawing a blank for the name of a certain syle of drink, made with two or three liquers.

The liquer with the heaviest specific gravity goes into a narrow glass. Then another lighter one is trickled carefully over the back of a spoon on top of the first. If done correctly the two, or even three liquers do not blend but form seperate colorful layers. It’s the same principle that keeps oil on top of water.

I’ve been racking my brains for the name of this drink or technique, but I just can’t temember. I know that as soon as I see it I’ll smack my head in disgust at myself.

Can anyone give me the name?

Layered drink or stacked drink, maybe?

Some examples include the B-52, Brain Hemorrhage, Red White & Blue… can’t remember the rest.

Pousse Cafe?

I don’t know the official name for the genre, but a popular one is a black and tan. Remember not to mix countries in the same glass; Irish and English beers can’t play nicely together-- they just end up getting in bar fights.

And of course, the classic for the beer drinker: Black and Tan

Shouda’ put down the glass and typed faster.

Beegirl13 got it.

Winner

That’s it! Thanks a bunch, I don’t know why I couldn’t think of the name. And thanks to everyone who replied.
