micro hd projectors. People already have internet access with their phones which are also fairly powerful computers. In many places in Africa, as strange as it sounds, the real issue is electricity to recharge them.

Since entertainment is always a strong driver and the prices of these devices have come down into the sub $200 range and will continue to drop, this will let people have private village theaters operated from a phone and tiny projector.

A movie theatre is not new, its old… just because you have a device that replicates a nearly 100 year old technology and delivers it to the most backward part of the globe does not make it “the next big thing”. Its makes it a big… aahhaaahhh… yawner.

That’s the next big things. And on the life style changing amoung the smaller changes of technological changes compared to others in the last 150 years.

I believe the next big global stimulator will be a collaboration between neuro science and the entertainment and recreational industries. Providing well thought out enviroments conducive to creativeness and social contact with like or similar minded people. Folks will spend a sizable percentage of thier incomes on thier hobbies and interests especially when these become incorporated into a lifestyle the entire family can enjoy.
