I especially loved the really subtle bit in the series when they had Remy Zero playing at a school dance or something and Pete was like: “Hey everyone! It’s Remy Zero! I love these guys!”
Yeah, that was the first season finale… which seems like the usual time for a WB show to have the artists who do the theme song do a guest appearance, or otherwise use the theme song in another way.
Of course, ‘one tree hill’ did it early, having Gavin DeGraw do his guest appearance for february sweeps the first season, IIRC.
Wasn’t that also the episode where they were passing out “Talon Mix” cd’s to everybody? I had to groan when I saw that bit…kinda blatant pimping of the soundtrack…
I like the song too, and looked 'em up on the web. Alas, Remy Zero is no more.
