What is the snackpit?

This is a serious question.

I have seen ads to go to the snackpit. However, when I have tried to click on the ad to get there, I get a page with zero threads and zero replies.

It is impossible to create a user identity, so I don’t see any way to get into the “board” at all.

Can anyone shed any light on this? I’ve seen it mentioned a few times in threads, so I’m interested in exactly what it is and how one can read/post?

The “snackpit,” AKA “snarkpit,” is a message board set up for the sole purpose of anonymously insulting and harassing the members of this board (and other related boards). If you want to learn more about it, do a search on the board, since it has been discussed here previously.
