In one of the episodes of MASH* during the David Ogden Stiers period, Chawles suffers from a back problem. Colonel Potter calls in three Korean doctors who offer to treat Winchester with acupuncture, but the snobbish surgeon dismisses them as little better than The Three Stooges. Potter prevails, however. Winchester finds, to his astonishment, that the acupuncture treatment is effective, and Potter tells him he will have to eat crow. I could not find the title of this episode.

Is “Back Pay” the same episode where, as I recall, Hawkeye discovers his med school rival is getting rich back home while Hawkeye performs free operations. Upset, Hawkeye sends the US Army an itemized bill for services rendered.
