Today at the beach I saw a strnge looking bug. It was found on the grass, and was a kind of greenish-brown color. It was two or three inches long, with a bunch of tiny legs, and had what looked like a head segment taking up the front quarter of it’s body. On the “head” segment it had what looked like eyes, but upon closer observation appeared to be only markings. It looked like it had a real head coming out of what looked like a mouth on the “head” segment.
I think it might be some kind of caterpillar, but otherwise I’m stumped.
