What Is Wrong With Leslie Nielsen's Legs/Walking Gait?

Has anybody noticed this? He seems bowlegged or perhaps one leg is shorter than the other, or something. It is nothing to do with his age (though it is perhaps more apparent as he approaches 80), as he walked this way as far back as the 60s, perhaps even in “Forbidden Planet.”
